075 - ACTION COMICS

So awhile back Dan McDaid took a stab at Superman's new look on his blog in an attempt to try and get a feel for it and after picking up a copy of Action Comics #1 from DC's New 52 I thought I would take a quick pass at it to see if I couldn't get my head wrapped around it a little better. .. Unlike Dan, I still don't get it. I don't know, maybe I did it wrong.

074 - BREAKING BAD

A little piece featuring my two favorite miscreants, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman as played by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Breaking Bad is in my opinion the best show on television. I could have done something more interesting with the composition but time is at a premium so I just went with the likeness.

072 - PROJECT ALICE

That last 3D installment of Resident Evil was pretty much unwatchable but I am a fan of the Alice character... I'm usually a sucker for anything with zombies in it.

071 - THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN

This piece is based off of a scene from Bride of Frankenstein (1935). Bride was a seminal film in that it inspired the hairstyles of several American icons, Horschach from Welcome Back Kotter, Norman and Harry Osborn as well as the weird neighbor guy from Seinfeld.

If you haven’t already checked it out, I set up an etsy shop so if you're interested in picking this piece up follow the link -

Here's my take on Yankees Ace, CC Sabathia - this will probably be the last one I do in this Baseball series for a little while at least but it's been alot of fun for me to have two of my passions sort of crossover. This piece is available for purchase on my etsy shop - http://www.etsy.com/shop/mainstage

066 - SKIP, THE DEMON

A shout to all my fellow Buffy and Angel fans - I've been wanting to draw this guy for a long time but I just never seemed to get around to it... until today. Skip only appeared in something like 3 or 4 episodes of Angel but I loved it every time that he showed up so he absolutely needed to make an appearance here ;)

062 - SCORN UPDATE

One of the drawbacks that I've found to inking myself is that over time I feel like my Pencils have gotten a little lazy at times. More often than not, if I'm not 100 % happy with them I just push forward and fix it in the Inks. Here's a section of a page I re-drew because I didn't feel like Inks alone were going to get me to where I wanted to be.
