One of the drawbacks that I've found to inking myself is that over time I feel like my Pencils have gotten a little lazy at times. More often than not, if I'm not 100 % happy with them I just push forward and fix it in the Inks. Here's a section of a page I re-drew because I didn't feel like Inks alone were going to get me to where I wanted to be.

062 - SCORN UPDATE

I don't know, sir. Your pencils are always pretty solid. But I totally understand where you are coming from.
Do you feel that you draw as you ink rather than tracing your pencils? I think that's an advantage that pencillers who ink themselves have over those that don't.
