With apologies to Dave Stevens – I'm thinking The Rocketeer is a bit outside my wheelhouse but more than that I think this is a good example of what happens when you have a drawing you're not happy with to begin with but you keep plowing through hoping to 'fix' it along the way. I think at one point I did have it looking halfway decent but then I just kept going at it and essentially worked it to death. The gray wash on the pants was really the last straw for me I think.
Anywho... I was trying to play along with the guys over at the COMIC TWART blog but obviously I was in over my head on this one. Maybe next time.
